When this happens can you still magnify or zoom?

By this I mean you click the magnify icon then when you go to click
and expand the area you want magnified the cursor does not change
to show a magnifying glass until the second click.

If so it is an acknowledged bug

<T>One of the other users in the office is having some problems with the cursor misbehaving- for example, in the marquis tool clicking and dragging does not respond. You have to click, then click again to get a marquis. We thought this was a mouse issue, but switching from a Logitech Mx310 to Magic Mouse did not fix the problem. We have no special mouse drivers installed, just the ones pre-loaded on the Macs.

Restarting ArchiCad fixes the issue temporarily.

I'm running a Mac Pro 3.1, the computer having the issues is a Mac Pro 5 (the ones just released). Same dual 2.4 Ghz Quad-core Intel Xeon processors.</T>

Sounds like a video card problem to me. Not enough VRAM perhaps?

Is your card listed under Graphisoft's video card database?

Cheers,
