New to Mac fine tuning F key functions - easily solved??

As I am new to Mac , and loving it I must add, ( Its a lovely design too I remind myself daily of) - the usuall F2 and F3 keys for changing storeys are alocated for OS stuff - Where is this changed in prferences or ArchiCAD to work in the intended ArchiCAD way - or do I allocated different F keys now?

?? also 'Numbers' under the 'international' tab of OS 'preferences' is not editable to remove punctuation by commas in thousands?? The drawing convention in Aust. is to dimension metres in millimetres - without commas. Any hints ...I have searched the apple site with no solution offered.

easy.

press the left hand top corner apple logo> system preference > keyboard and mouse > keyboard tab> check the box "Use all F1, F2.............."
