Re-installed ArchiCAD 14 (64-bit)(Vista) will not startup

Recently we switched to Codemeter keys. It was mooth and everything worked. After a 3rd party add-on to ArchiCAD, the version 13 and 14 became progressively less functional. Crash on close, (not on save) for example. The appropriate straightline cure appeared to be to uninstall the add-on, and the ArchiCADs.

After re-install of AC13, and its failure to properly start, we uninstalled and removed it again, We have installed / uninstalled AC14 from the original distribution DVD a number of times and read throuigh all available troubleshooting, Wikis, and Foums. Here's the message we get when clicking on the AC Splash Screen a second time:

Obviously, this is very annoying. Anyone have this kind of problem? AC has otherwise run without incident for more than a year.
