my friend has a license in AC10 , and after he tried AC12 trial version, and he uninstalled it because it expired.

Then, problem comes.

His AC10 license has gone, the wibu key can't be detected, no matter he's uninstall both wibu key driver and AC10 application and reinstall them again. The AC10 become demo version again.

but his mac ox 10.4 can detect the wibu key, and the wibu application can detect it too.

The only problem is that the AC10 can't detect the wibu. why? how to solve?

I had the same problem after installing AC 12 demo version.
I called my reseller and he had me update my wibu-key drivers
by directing me to a specific page on the wibu site.
After downloading and installing the drivers everything
worked correctly again. I don't understand what happened
but somehow what I was told to do worked.
I would suggest contacting your reseller.
Here is what I found in my hard drive directory.
In the AC 10 folder is a folder called WIBU.
In this folder is one file called WibuData.tar.gz
last modified April 15 2006. Apparently not overwritten.
This file is a gzip compressed file and does not have a version number.

In the AC 12 folder is a folder called WIBU.
In this folder is one file called WibuData.tar.gz
last modified June 26 2008. Apparently not overwritten.
This file is a gzip compressed file and does not have a version number.

In the Applications folder there is folder called
WIBUKEY that was created when I installed the
new WIBU-KEY drivers and inside are three files,
UserHelp.app, WkConfig.app, wkuMacX, and
one folder called Server. The files and the folder
all have the same modification date Oct 23 2008
Which is the date I downloaded and installed the
new drivers.

Inside the Server folder are five files,
Daemon Start.command, Daemon Stop.command,
WebMonitor.app, WkServer.log, and WkSvMacX.app.
These files have the same modification date,
Oct 23 2008.

Some of these files have the version number 5.21
I do not know if this version number is the latest.

I was careful to ask my re-seller to direct me to
the exact file I was to download because I was
sure there were many files on the Wibu site and
I would not know which one to download so I
would suggest you talk to your re-seller to
make sure you download and install the correct files.

I did not re-install AC 12 or AC 10.
