<T>Hello!
Something very strange happened to Archicad...
I was working on a file and, all of a sudden, when I tried to move any object, the black line connecting the 'point of origin' and 'the drag to point' disappeared.
I closed and reopened the file and then it worked. After a while, the line went missing again. The same with other files. Now, I can open a file and every thing can go well fine and then, after reopening the same file, the line problem again. I must mention that the tracker and guidelines buttons are activated.
I checked all the files on other computers with the same Archicad version, they are all working well.
I reinstalled the software, have the newest Java & Quicktime versions .
What can I do do have things going like they used to? I find that guideline to be very helpful and I do want it back.
We use Archicad 13, Windows XP SP3, 32 bit.
Thank you!</T>

Sounds to me that it could be a graphics card driver problem.
I would try updating the drivers of the graphics card or see if I can find a graphics card driver version with which it works fine.

I think that was it, the driver needed to be updated. Now it seems to work like before. Thank you so very much !!!!
