topic ArchiCad Learning in Installation & update

Hello ArchiCad Experienced Users/GraphiSoft Staff:
I bought ArchiCad way back in 1989+/- and never got the training I needed, so I abandoned it and went to the Dark Side with AutoCad 2D for about 25 years.
I am now in a trial ArchiCad 15/2012 Start edition and will be buying in a matter of days. I'd like to learn as much as possible prior to that date, this time around. I am taking the ArchiCad 15 online tutorials, which are fine, for what they show you, however, I mainly design custom homes. My guess is the best tutorial will be to simply start drawing a small, simple house with it and see how frustrated I get as I move forward.
If anyone can suggest additional guides for home architects, using wood frame with gable roof truss construction and timber beams and posts, I would appreciate it. Thank you for your assistance.
