Where can I find directions on using the Mesh to Roof add-on? I am having problems using it to create a roof with a concave curve for a gothic arch barn roof eave. The standard roof tools won't create the roof because it is concave, I have tried it, but perhaps someone could tell how to use the irregular arched roof tool for these eaves.

Or do any of you have time to outline the procedure.

Got the Mesh to Roof problem solved, It must be done in plan view only. Strange when the arch roof must be done in 3D.

I would still appreciate someone posting the URL of a tutorial on Mesh to Roof.

You'd best be using the complex profile with the wall tool for any fancy roof shape or extrusion.

I will try that, I never thought of using a complex profile wall as a roof although I have created and used complex walls.

The roofs are made as complex profile walls but now I cannot cut the walls off to meet the roof. Any suggestions?

Without asking you to send another image…

-- try making the wall exactly the right height to meet the new roof.

-- INCLUDE the wall part in your complex-wall-that-is-also-a-roof.

-- make a phantom roof and trim to it

Found and am using solid element operations for cutting off the top of walls even with roof.
