SUMMARY

2D content is sometimes lost in sections/elevations

DESCRIPTION

2D content is sometime lost in sections/elevations.

To me this (only … ?) happens when publishing sections to DWG. All 2D content is sometimes lost / deleted in ArchiCAD in some section/elevations. The model is also "deleted" but reappears after regenerating from model. No clear system here... Sometimes AC will also crash. (3 times today trying to figure out this.)

I might be related to 2D fills.
1) I published a section. 2D content (and model) was lost from section in AC (and of course also in the DWG file).
2) I recreated the 2D stuff (which I in this case had copied to the clipboard) but deleting all fills.
3) New publish went painless.
4) But ….. Putting in the fills again, - a publishing again (with fills) also went painless. As a said, - no system

No problem on my system ….

SOLUTION

Stay with AC 9?

AC9 had that problem too, (As did 8.1 and 8 ). So much for it being fixed in AC10...

Sorry to say but this has not been fixed in R10 build 987.

I may be related to having sections set to manual-rebuild and drawing in layout to manual update. (But even after rebuilding section and refresh layout) the 2D content disappears in some sections when publishing to DWG

PLEASE FIX NOW.
