It might mean that the complexity of the mesh (or another object) has created to many nodes/polygons for the amount of RAM that you have and AC is hitting the maximum of your system when either opening the 3D window or refreshing a section or elevation.

Solution (besides adding more RAM) is to simplify the mesh, turn it off or do the calculation in another file that only has the mesh.

BTW 40Gb of hard disk space has nothing to do with RAM which you either have 2Gb - 4 or up to a max of 32 in current regular Operating systems.

AC12 Memory Full???

<T>Hi everybody,
I was working on some construction detail in AC12 (copying a mesh to calculate the volume of an escavation), when an error windows popped uo saying "Memory Full!" ("Memoria Piena", in Italian), then the program crashed.

Now, as any surprise in the IT world, this happens just few days before the deadline, of course...

Does anybody knows what the problem is? Do I have a reasonable ground to freak out?

Thanks!

Enrico</T>

Guess it's a late comment , but other option is to turn some of your meshes into object , if possible , depends on the nature of it's function...
