Problem with AC10 displaying menu items etc - JAVA ?

Have just installed AC10 on my Dell Inspiron 9300 Laptop and Menus are playing up - small popups are not working and in Library the views of all items in Lower left window (Example - in windows or doors - cannot see anything)
GRAPHICS CARD - ATI MOBILITY RADEON X300 128mb
OOPS 2 gigs DDR2 Ram

It seems like some funny display issue or conflict with Java
I only have the one Java installed - from AC10 disk

Please any ideas at all

You should say your system specs.
Might be not enough RAM

sorry - updated specs
WINXP PRO SP2 all updates
2 GIG RAM
x300 ATI MOBILITY RADEON
Version 9 worked fine

same here ... with radeon mob. 7500

tried installing ati catalyst 6.2.
the newest on 6.4 does not work with radeon 7500, you may try.
you have to patch it before installing, there a lots of freeware-tools in the net.

anyway no effect

anybody else probems with ati mobile cards??

Dirk,

I never did find the REASON but I found a solution.
I Resintalled or REPAIRED XP Pro SP2 over my original insallation and it fixed the problem....so somehow there was a driver problem or conflict.
