I cannot install a 2008 archicad on a 64 XP professional. Why?

Probably you got problem with Java incompatibility - operating system got newest one. Uninstall Java from system and after ArchiCAD installation update it again.

The wording of this question is strange to me.
There is no ArchiCAD 2008.
Are you sure this is ArchiCAD, and not AutoCAD 2008?
