It's not always that easy to get it working but it does pretty well on my machine. The one thing that didn't work straight out was the 3D in OpenGL. Making it to run in WinXP-SP3 Compatibility Mode fixed that too.
So I'm also trying to install ArchiCAD 9 on a Windows 7 Professional platform...

I did the uninstall java reinstall the old java, but when I try to install, the installer hangs up on the license screen, suggesting I read it carefully, but not showing anything... the NEXT button remains greyed out and there is never an opportunity to select "custom"...

Any ideas?

Thanks,
I'm having the same problem as above so I downloaded the converter zip file and when I try to launch AC I get an error message "The program can't start because MSVCP71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Unable to extract the file from the CD I downloaded one from the web and tried placing it in the GS folder and then moved it to the System32 folder (rebooted each time) to no avail. Is there anyway to get this to work?

thanks
