No Love for AC15 on Windows 7

So, I've just complete rebuild my computer, with a brand-spankin', factory reset to windoze 7 with AC15 (which was sweet on while I was running XP sp3). After battling through the upgrading and downgrading of Java to get the installer to open, now I'm getting told "archicad cannot install on this platform - please install SP3".
Strange, as win 7 is only up to SP1.......................

I'm running a lenovo thinkstation, 4GB ram, intel quad core 2, g-force 210 vid card.

Any one got any bright ideas?

Please try install ArchiCAD from the DVD, by browsing the 32 bit installer exe file
(DVD > ArchiCAD 15 > ArchiCAD 15-Win32 > Setup.exe)

And I don't have to suffer that annoying autoplay video either!
Does the autorun try to install a 64bit version?

As I know in similar cases the OS cannot recognize the installer with splash screen correctly.
