zooming slow, spinning ball every time

Last week Archicad 13 with windows 7 started being slow zooming in and out. This happens with every project not just one of them. It wasn't like this before. I see the spinning ball every time I zoom in and out. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Side questions,
Why aren't you running AC directly on the mac OS?
Why haven't you upgraded XP to SP3?

Most common causes:
-driver videocard not up to date
-change Work Environment/Advanced redraw settings/Hardware acceleration level
-Switch off Trace and Reference (or do not use a view as reference, but the source)
-Set Doors and Windows to Symbolic instead of Projected (Floor Plan and Section)
-Delete (for investigation) complex objects
