topic Fit Frame to Drawing default not sticking (AC14) in Installation & update

<T>After setting the Drawing Tool to 'Fit Frame to Drawing', dragging in a view onto a layout sheet causes the placed drawing to become 'Manually Resize Frame.' Even if I change a placed drawing to 'Fit' then pick up the attributes (option click), newly placed views still come in as 'Manual.' I have New & Reset that does not make a difference. Any thought will be appreciated!

Thanks, Scott</T>

Does the view you are dragging in have a zoom area saved with it? Try it with the "none" setting.

Stuart! Great idea! Setting the view to 'Ignore view when opening this view' had no affect. BUT, setting the view to 'Fit in window' did the trick.

Thank you for saving me more hours of grief.
