.... would I be getting this message when I start up AC13? I am in the throes of upgrading both my hardware (to W7 64bit) and archicad and it is proving a nightmare.

I think you need to clarify a bit.

You've installed ArchiCAD and it is asking you for the disc?

Is the disc in the drive?

I've never seen this myself so I've nothing much to offer on such slim data.

I had already loaded archicad and the latest hotfix and everything else. I never sorted out why it was happening but the problem seems to have diseappeared after a couple of system restarts.
