<R>We have recently bought new PCs for running archicad.

Unfortunalty these machines came with vista, however as we have to run auto-cad 2006 to access legacy files, we have had to downgrade to XP.

More unfortunately the machines that we purchased Dell XPS 420 were never "designed" for XP so it was a bit of a struggle for out IT guy to hunt down drivers for the Hard Drive, Graphics card etc.

Generally everything is fine on the PCs. The CPUs are racing along and the additional RAM is doing its job. However I have noticed that 2D zooming in and out is not great, and 3D zooming in and out is worse still.

I dont think that the drivers for the graphics cards are the exact ones, but I dont know if it was possible to get the correct ones due to lack of XP compatibility

Anybody got any thoughts?

The strange thing is taht orbiting is pretty good!</R>
