This same Goodie updated RC1 just fine but not 3013 ?

Goodies are (typically) produced per-build. So, if a goodie was already installed when applying a hotfix, the hotfix will update it. if not, the old installer will not install - you have to download the updated goodie installer from the GS web site (assuming that they've updated it there). Has always been this way.

I thought I installed all the goodies for 17 before the hotfix. I could not import a .3ds file. The goodie for that was missing so I downloaded it from the GS website. It updated the pre hot fix version. It will not install on the hotfix version. ? Why would it say it can't find a 64bit version ?

If the goodie won't install on the hotfix version they need to fix that.
