in archicad14 when i click save as and select IFC 2X3 the 'Export' pull down is blank and the 'Translator' pull down lists only 'general translator'. i am fully updated, libraries and all....help!

Have you tried to access the Translator using File Special or just Save as ?

Did you notice that we have very limited IFC Model Units. I need Cubic Yards ! Square Yards, etc....

I have the same complaint about ArchiCAD units available for use in schedules.

WE NEED MORE UNITS OF MEASURE ! Is that so hard to do?

i can go through File Special and looks like I can choose structure or HVAC but there are still no other translators but 'General'. Also, not real sure if making that selection registers anywhere??

i have only the General Translator where you have several other defaults for different data exchanges, i would screen shot, but it just crashed for the 3rd straight time. it crashes anytime i mess with that dialogue box...i think i might go to hand drafting

got it.... its read and write privileges on my machine causing the issues
