No Feedback On Drawing

Archicad tools are lacking feedback (ie: when drawing a line, the dotted line doesn't appear after selecting the first point.)

When I open a file (new or existing) the tools work fine. After a few minutes tools stop giving feedback. Any ideas what might be causing this?

(I figure reinstalling might solve the problem, but if I could avoid doing so that would be great)

check out this ArchiCAD wiki.

First thing you need to do is to update the driver of your videocard.

Also check your advanced redraw options in your work environment.See attached.

It works the majority of the time now. I updated the driver. Changed the settings. And stripped down the load in other areas.

I really just need a new computer with a new chip-set.
