topic ArchiCad won't run! in Installation & update

I just tried to start ArchiCad 11 on my laptop at home. it wanted the latest update, build 1259. I installed it after shutting down ArchiCad. the wizard wanted to know if I want to install any other downloads, and it led me to look all over my computer for anything I might have downloaded, which could have been months ago. Now ArchiCad won't run. What to do and where to start?

I am embarrased! I tried to launch Archicad by clicking the AC11-1259 installation icon! No wonder it didn't start ArchiCad. I am not used to having more than one ArchiCad icon on my desktop. Can it be deleted now?

I that is just the hotfix and you hasve already installed in then yes it can be deleted.
However you may want to store it somewhere (other than your desktop) just in case you need to reinstall Archicad for some reason.
This will save you having to download the file again.
