Error message "TextEngine.dll not found"

I get this message every time I start ArchiCAD. It says file must be available to run the application.
Please help.

Hi Mcanavan,

You don't say what operating system you are using, or whether you have successfully run the same version of ArchiCAD previously.

The file you are missing is usually located in the standard ArchiCAD folder - on a Windows machine it's C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 13

Can you check whether the file actually exists or not?

There should be quite a number of other files and folders in the same place. If it isn't there, something must have gone wrong and you should try reinstalling/repairing ArchiCAD from the disk. You may also need to re-install the latest hotfix afterwards.

I am currently receiving this message as well.
Running windows xp pro and archicad 13 educational version.
I have had no problems in the past, however, once i reformatted archicad simply wont open.

EDIT: completely uninstalled, re downloaded and it now works like a champ.
