ArchiCAD 9 install on a brand new Mac Pro IntelMaC / Leopard

I'm installing older versions to open and convert legacy files.
7.0 anniversary edition installed without a glitch, but 9.0 installer says:
"Please Specify Directory" no matter how I browse...

I tried searching the forum first to no avail...

any ideas?

The AC09 installer problem has been discussed multiple times. The short answer is that it will not install you have to copy an already installed version from a PPC Mac.
