After installing new server, AC is still searching the old

Hi everybody
i'm facing the following problem:
i have installed a new server on my network, which has a different name than the old one.
Every time i launch AC, it takes a long time doing nothing, and then a message appears stating: "Connection Failed. The server may not exist or it is not operational at this time" (see attached image)
Apparently AC is searching for my old server.
I have re-directed the libraries with library manager to the new server, but it seems that AC is always trying to access the old server. I'm forced to keep both servers (the old and the new) on, in order to work. If i switch off the old server it is impossible to launch AC.

Server is running Leopard 10.5 Server

Any help appreciated.
