AMD 8-core processor running AC on one core. . PLEASE HELP

AMD FX-8120 8 Core processor
AMD Radeon HD 6670
Win 7 64bit
ArchiCad 16 with latest HotFix 3014

My ArchiCad is running very slowly.
Only in 2D though. So I dont believe it is my graphics card.
In task manager I notice that only one of my cores performs when I work on archicad. They perform fine on other programs, its just as if my Archicad does not see the other 7 cores.

PLEASE HELP.

As a by note, I am quite impressed with my one working core's performance though 🙂

particularly the section titled "Is ArchiCAD multi-threaded?"

While some parts of AC benefit from multiple cores, as noted there, most of AC runs with a single core, so what you're seeing is normal.
