NEED ADVICE ON WORKSTATION

Hey,
My workstation mother board just died and I need to get a replacement (for windows). I am looking for suggestions as far as what processors to get dual xeons? i7 processors? can archicad use multiple processors? I would greatly appreciate any advice about what kind of and how many processors it would be wise to get.

Hey Jack,

Have a look at some of the other recent posts in the hardware section of these forums. There have been several discussing suitable processors. Generally, go for one that is as fast as possible with as many cores as possible.

Only ArchiCAD 12 will use multiple processors to any extent.
