zoom responsiveness with mouse scroll wheel

zooming with a mouse scroll wheel in 2d or 3d views seems laggy / slow to respond, nothing happens and then suddenly it catches up and i'm past where i wanted to be. never had any issues in ac13 ... seems to happen on all the macs in our office regardless of how fast they are (everything from MBP to fairly recent macPros. would love to see the responsiveness return. using AC v14.0.0.

It looks like you might have a side scrolling issue with the scroll wheel. It is the option in that lets you click the wheel left to right in newer mice.

To try use a mouse that does not have that option, a magic mouse might work.

You can use your mouse drivers and disable the option or use usboverdrive or my favorite which is steermouse.
