<T>Hi There,

I'm a design student currently using Archicad 15. I've been using the program for a few years now and have never had troubles with using the 3D generic perspectives - panning, orbiting, etc.

Yesterday my orbit tool became nearly impossible to use. I cannot orbit easily, the building I'm working on flies off into the distance, or rotates far too quickly or in the opposite direction.

I use a MacBook Pro, and have checked my trackpad (by using a mouse instead) and it is working fine.

Does anyone have any ideas? Are my settings incorrect or have I selected something by accident?

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Prue</T>

when on the floor plan, check all stories if you have some (unnecessary that are usually far away from the project model) objects.. delete or hide these objects, go to 3D view and click the Fit in Window icon below model view. (right side of Pan Icon) Then try using the orbit command again.
