It's may help but you will probably need to re apply the latest hotfix.
Editing the product version.xml may also be required as this is not changed during the repair
Hope this helps.

Hi David
Per your suggestion I ran the "repair" option (never had seen that before) and reapplied the latest hotfix. Partly through resetting up my work enviro.
All seems fine now without editing the "version.xml" which is good as I don't know what that is or where I might find it.
Is not editing the version.xml something that is likely to come back and cause a problem?
Thanks for your help.

All was working fine until..........
I downloaded MEP trial from myarchicad and installed it, but then decided I did not want it any more. (Error message kept popping up)
So I went into Graphisoft 16 folder > Add ons and deleted the MEP folder.
Now I get the attached ugly message.
To try and fix it,,,
I re-downloaded the trial MEP but it won't install, saying it already is installed!
As a long shot, I recreated a blank folder named MEP, but of course that did not fix it. Could someone send me any files that belong in it?
In the AC-16 Add-Ons folder,>MEP Modeler,(which I did not touch), is the file, MEP Modeler Configuration.xml
Any help much appreciated.
I could reinstall AC (but just got finished setting everything up), so hoping for simpler fix.
