I am having the same issue in ArchiCAD 15 and 16, on the one person's computer that runs windows XP Pro the text is fine (PenguinLight - set to Western) but when I switch to the newer computer running windows 7 it looks like a Cyrillic font of some sort. The text has been loaded on both computers and looks correct when in the text editing window, but as soon as you finish editing it returns to its previous state.

So far this is the only thread I have found where someone was having the same issue, but there was no answer to the problem. Anyone have any solutions?

<T>Some fonts are not showing properly in AC 16.
I just opened file that was created in AC 15
and all 2D text with specific font (ISOCPEUR) is showing weird symbols.
It shows ok while editing, but when editing is done it goes back to weird symbols.
I try open a fresh new file, with all default settings and problem appears with same font...
any idea how to fix it?</T>

It may be that the character coding is not set to the correct value.
If you select the Text and go to tis settings Dialog, at the top right you will find the character coding field (at least on Windows, I don't know if it is the same on Mac).

Probably should be set to Western or Central European in your case.
