Archicad 14 won't start

Hello!

I am using the student version of Archicad 14 (registered), and I now have a 1 year license.
How ever, the last 2 weeks the program won't start up anymore!

I have tried several things: get the latest updates of Quicktime and Jave and also uninstalled the whole Archicad program and re-installed it, but nothing seems to work.
I keep on staring at the start up screen, but it will not go any further..

Does anything know this problem and a solution?

Maybe some program does not allow ArchiCAD to access the files and folders it needs to.
Exactly what kind of computer do you have?
I have an Acer laptop and at first ArchiCAD couldn't start. I had to remove some preinstalled programs to make it work.

I use an Packard Bell Easynote TJ 65.
Somehow it used to work but now it doesn't anymore..

You should try disabling your virus scanner to see if that causes it.
Also, please check if any preinstalled software may be causing it.
In my case if was some kind of a data security software that did not allow AC to access its own folders that cause the problem.
