topic Multi screen setup in Installation & update

I am looking into creating a new setup with 3 monitors. My thought is to use the left one for all the text and windows things (word, browser, etc.) and use the center and right monitors for Archicad. Thus I would like to know if it is possible to put the 2D/stories screen on one monitor and the 3D view on the other. The idea is that when the user does something in one window it automatically is revealed in the other view in real time (hopefully). Nothing I hate more than switching between the 2 views, back and forth. Any one no if what I would like to do is possible?
regards,
Mike

It can be done, but you will be working with all the windows as, well, windows, not maximized.

I tried it a while and got lower back pains from sitting weirdly, so I just use the 2nd screen (2 screen setup) for outlook, PDF docs, and some lesser used palettes/dialogs like SEO, render settings, complex profile.

If you have a Nvidia card, you can use a program that allows you to subdivide your screen in predefined zones and quickly switch programs from one screen to another. It doesn't behave too well with ArchiCAD for me (it crashes), but all other programs work well with it.

It can be done, but you need to expand your ArchiCAD window to the limits of your center and right screen.

I know this isn't what you want to here, but with the MAC I am quite sure the 3D window (and other windows) can be moved to another screen without having to be within the ArchiCAD program window.
