topic Why does AC 11 make this computer crash? in Installation & update https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Installation-update/Why-does-AC-11-make-this-computer-crash/m-p/19212#M2346 <DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"><T>My colleagues computer is built as follows:<BR /> <BR /> <BR /> <BR /> MOTHERBOARD - Abit KV8 pro socket 754 <BR /> CPU - AMD Athlon64 3000+ <BR /> MEMORY - 1gb ballistix 2x512mb (ALL SLOTS TAKEN) <BR /> VIDEO - ATI FireGL X2 PRO 256mb AGP <BR /> HARD DRIVE1 - 36gb ST336753LC SCSI HD (50% free) <BR /> HARD DRIVE2 - 18GB MAJ3182mp <BR /> DRIVE - dvdrw<BR /> <BR /> <BR /> She has worked in AC 9 and AC 10 on it without problem, in those versions, openGL worked fine.<BR /> <BR /> After installing 11, the machine crashed repeatedly, hotfixes and all. It wouldn't even open a new project. I didn't want to reinstall it again until i got some feedback as to what the problem might be.
