Just noticed that the documented silent parameter for ArchiCAD 18 Updater on Mac is not working as documented on:

Where the

-silent

parameter should work for versions since ArchiCAD 15.

I tested it on: ArchiCAD-18-Update-4020 and
Library-18-GER-Update-4755

I discovered later the the older parameter for ArchiCAD 14 and older

-W play.auto=YES

works!!!

You could check if you have done everything the way it is described in the article including the full line in the Terminal.

This is unfortunately outdated. It works only till ArchiCAD 17.
it works on Mac only for the main Installer of ArchiCAD 18 but not for the updates.

I will forward this info to GS so hopefully they will be able to update this article and also find the source of this behavior.
