https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Installation-update/Detail-Drawings-turned-red/m-p/246845#M25855 When you say you place your drawing on the plan, I am hoping you mean on a layout page.<BR /> <BR /> The colour may be due to the pen set that has been set in the drawing settings.<BR /> Or maybe you have placed it on a Master layout - they by default will appear red when you set that master to be used in a standard layout.<BR /> <BR /> The drawing not updating may be because it is set to manual update in the drawing settings.<BR /> You can set it to automatic or you can right click on it and choose 'Update' to do it manually.<BR /> If it still does not update, then it may be set to use a different layer combination to what you are looking at in plan. You may be placing the new elements in layers that are turned off in the drawing you have placed - hence you won't see any change.<BR /> <BR /> <BR /> Barry.
