ArchiCAD 22 crashes upon launching since latest update

ArchiCAD 22 either crashes or hangs or freezes my computer upon launching since the latest update (4005-1.0). I tried restarting my Mac to no avail. It gets all the way to the showing the various windows and dialog boxes on the screen, but then just hangs or crashes. I am trying to open a new file from the ArchiCAD 22 template.

Have you tried opening a file other than the template?

Hi Barry,
Yes, I tried opening an ArchiCAD 21 file with the same results. I tried migrating libraries and not migrating libraries with the same results. There is a dialog box indicating an attempt to load some cadimage add-ons: checking or unchecking them makes no difference. I don't have an ArchiCAD 22 file other than the template to try to open.

That is just saying that the 21 file used Cadimage add-ons that you don't have loaded in 22.

It seems Archicad is starting OK - just not loading any files completely.

I am wondering if it has something to do with the Work Environment.
Load the standard template again but make sure you set it to use the Standard Work Environment.

If that doesn't work then I would try un-installing & re-installing Archicad.
Check it before you install the latest update and then install the update again.

At least this way you will find out if it is the update.

Then if still no luck, contact your local support centre (distributor).
