Rotated Sections & Elevations

In the project I am working on, the plan views are all rotated 90 degrees from the original site plan layout. Now when I create elevations and sections they too are rotated 90 degrees, putting them up on their sides. Oddly though this does not happen every time that I create one and sometimes I will create one and it will be fine and then I open it and it rotates. The only way I can get rid of the rotation is to delete the marker and create a new one, hoping to get lucky and get the correct orientation. I am at a loss of what is going on. There is no way to rotate elevations and sections like there is plan views, so I see no way to change things. Please help!

Check your View Orientation, and also check the Reference Guide for View Map Creation/Settings.
