Curtain Wall puzzle

Is there a known issue or big changes with the curtain wall tool in versions 23 and 24?
I've usually managed to muddle through making and editing walls, but all of a sudden I can't seem to connect my editing to the final product. Much of the time I make changes in the settings panel, but nothing changes in the model.
I'm worried that this is some stupid error on my part, but I was managing before.

Can you be more specific?
Could you post screenshots of exactly what is happening and what is not working?

Thanks. Some of the issues appear to have resolved themselves after reinstalling Version 24, and I've managed to finish what I was trying to do......although not very professionally. I'll wait until next time I use the tool, so that I can send you the images you suggest.
