Only partial view in Layouts

On the screenshots you can see that in Project Map and View Map my curtain wall shows up fine. But in Layout Book only part of the door shows, and none of the windows. Until I activate the whole Layout with the cursor......and then you can see the full curtain wall clearly.
Any ideas why this is happening?
The curtain wall is sitting in an empty door opening (formerly a garage up and over door) and that in turn is sitting in the main front wall.

I would try: Changing the door opening background to none: or selecting CW and bring it in front of the door.
