<T>i have a MBP 2009 running AC 19 which is performing quite well considering, but lately when i zoom right in for small detailed work it slows right down to the point where it will execute an action about once every 2 seconds and i will even get the beachball of doom. this is a bit counter intuitive to me, i would have thought that it would only be rendering a fraction of the info so it should actually perform better, but i obviously don't know what i'm talking about. it's not a particularly large file 15 Mb. is there something i can do to restore this or is it just the latest build finally just too much for my machine?</T>

Not sure if it will help but try turning off the cut plane if it's on.
