Here you can see some benchmark results for different graphic cards and a good explanation why a good CPU is important to make a GPU work as fast as it can. 1060 vs 1050Ti doesn't show much difference on smaller projects, but it grows larger for large ones. I'd go for the I7.
As you can see in my signature below I have an older workstation with a newer low end Quadro GPU.
This combination works without any problems even on larger projects. I guess any of your possible choices will do even better.

<T>Hi everyone,

I am new in this forum and need to get a new laptop for college for ArchiCAD 22.

I was looking at the Lenovo Legion Y530 and Y730. But now I face a difficult question:

I5 8300H + 1060 (6GB)
or
I7 8750H + 1050Ti (4GB)

What combination will perform better with 16GBs of RAM. The price is roughly the same.

Many thanks in advance!

Xenox</T>

I agree with Miha, I would go with the stronger i7 processor, especially because it has 6 cores/12 threads, while the i5 has only 4 cores/8 threads. This can make a big difference in many areas of ARCHICAD:

https://ark.intel.com/compare/134876,134906

I think the 1050 TI GPU is already pretty strong for ARCHICAD (unless you work on Projects with millions of polygons), the 1060 is even stronger, but for ARCHICAD the CPU matters more than GPU.
