The quickest way to save back objects is through embedded library, I would say. Not even sure if you can save them back easily by opening them all one by one, but that will take more time. Once you are in the 17 file, you can then save the embedded objects to a folder again.

<T>Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the patch tool and the objects it creates: I work in archicad 19 and I've sent a file to an office that is still on Archicad 17, I've converted from 19 -> 18 and 18 -> 17 and made an archive with AC 17.

The problem is that the patches don't convert using this method. Is there a way to convert the patches (.gsm files) to older versions?

Kind regards,</T>

Are the patch objects stored in the 'Embedded' library?
I think if they are they get converted back as you 'save as' for the older versions.
If they are in a separate library they definitely won't.

I am not 100% sure on this though.
