What's the best OSX system to use with ArchiCAD 17?

I have to upgrade my OSX system to accommodate Gmail. I've heard there are a lot of issues with El Capitan. What is the most recent platform I should use? Thanks so much in advance.

ARCHICAD 17 and earlier are not compatible with El Capitan:

I am on OSX10.10, it has all the functionality of OSX10.9, and will run AC back to version 10.
