Dear Nicholas,

Thank you very much for sharing the issue and I am very sorry about the experience!

From my knowledge, this sounds like there were some problems with the CodeMeter driver. I would like to ask some questions in order to solve this issue:

- Is CodeMeter service running (this can be seen by opening System Preferences > CodeMeter)? If yes, please stop then restart the service.
- Is there any firewall or anti-virus program running? If yes, could you disable them and see if it helps?
- With Anti-virus app and firewall still disabled, please download and install the latest CodeMeter driver here: https://www.wibu.com/support/user/user-software.html
- If the issue still persists after all this, please create a CmDust log for further investigation. This Help Center article shows you how to generate it: https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/?p=25432

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

<T>I am a long term user of ACad (started with V3.14) I am now retired but
need to keep my copy of ACad 18 operational for a number of reasons
including archive access. A week or two ago I foolishly upgraded my Mac OS
without checking compatabilities and wound up finding that much of my
existing software including my ACad was not compatible with it. With some
difficulty, I have managed to revert to the original OS but have run into
another problem, namely that ACad says "Unable to access CodeMeter driver"
I have downloaded & installed fresh License Manager / WIBUKEY copies but it
still won’t recognise the dongle / license.

The two ACad agents that I have dealt with over the years have retired /
gone out of business and there doesn't seem to be a current Irish agent.
Can anyone out there help me to resolve this problem ? Any and all help /
suggestions gratefully received !

Regards,
