show on story problem

Hi
I’m using Archicad for about 6 years from Archicad 11 till 19.
I Love it.
but there’s problem! I can’t change “show on story” option

when I change it, it revert to “home story only”, it drives me crazy!
or when i chose “entire model” in trace option it shows nothing other than home story!

I don’t know what should I do, I need this feature in stairs, elevator, site plan and etc.

The Entire Model Display is just for showing all when Partial Structure Display... is used, on the same Story. In the Help files see: Views of the Virtual Building > Partial Structure Display > Visualizing the Entire Model. So I think you want to choose the Story you want to see, not Entire Model Display.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

I didn't get it why my trace doesn't show entire model.
is there any option that show every story below?
and I can't change "show on story" too.

Not using Trace & Reference. I have not needed to do this, but a few ideas:
1. Overlay plan views on a layout sheet, then use that layout as T&R
2. Use the 3D Window set to Parallel Projection > Top View and 3D Window Settings > Vectorial Engine > Wireframe Mode to see down through the model. The Stories could be limited by Filter and Cut elements in 3D > Stories to Show in 3D.

Maybe someone who has done this will add a comment.
