Polygon Alert Volume is too much...

I'm using Archicad 7.0 and listening to headphones. In spite of adjusting my alert volumes in System Preferences Mac OS 10.4.2 Every time I change the shape of a polygon the Archicad alert is deafening. Is there any way to turn this annoying alert down or off entirely?

Same way I fixed that annoying rattle in my car....turm the music up.

1. turn the main volume down and iTunes' volume up.

2. turn off archiCAD's alert sounds once and for all.
