SLOW WITH 4K MONITOR

Hello,

Running Archicad 25 on mac book pro 2017.

It is very slow when a 4k monitor is connected. that too for a small house project. A building five times this size doesn't create problem running alternative bim on boot camp.

What is the issue? I contacted numerous times my vendor, nothing to do...

Have you made sure you're energy settings haven't changed to 'Automatic Switching' for graphics? I have a 4K and 5K monitor on a 2017 Touch Bar MacBook Pro and haven't noticed any issues with speed in particular.

Which setting is this :-/. Looked for automatic switching and didn't find anything ...

Which OS are you using? It’s normally somewhere in the Energy Settings in System Preferences. Under both battery and power supply there is an option for Automatic Graphics Switching that can be turned off.
