As I recall AC7 was not OSX savvy until r2/v2 or r3/v3. I do remember hearing of someone getting some version of 6.5 (presumably a recent one) to run in OSX. I'm not sure if it was in Classic or not. It does seem an exceptional bother though.

Depends on the protection key; seem to remember that there were issues with old WIBUs and OSX. I also seem to remember a thread in the Hardware forum on this.

Probably so, as long as it's transferable and upgradeable (which it presumably is).

Post it in the ad section here or put it on e-bay (with a notice here to increase the interest).

But a used 6.0 license is suspect. In something that old, look for memory leakage in library parts and if the application was even occasionally used for anything over ten storeys check for XY Axis drift with a set square and masking tape on your display. And jam in the manual, especially if Burginger's kids were using it.

before USB keys, when one upgraded, one was supposed to return an old key for a new key. Needless to say, many did not and there are lots of these old keys floating around out there. These keys can not be upgraded and are worthless. When a dealer places an order to upgrade one of these keys, it will be rejected.

The point... a 6.0 key that is not among those described above has value; otherwise, if you like working in 6.0 great! if you want to get from 6.0 to 9, forget it. Check to see if the key is legal before you buy.

And, by the way, always check any key offered on ebay.

This is a VERY important point!

If you are posting on eBay, always post the notification here, with the reseller info - so that people can check!
