in version 9 student version was for students, while university version was to be used as acedemic at school labs by faculty.

I guess they eliminated the university version in version 10, since they are giving it away free.
For university version a faculty member needs to contact GS, at least it was like that in version 9.

Dear All,

Previously in Version 9.0 of ArchiCAD we had a university version and a student version with the following limitations over the commercial version (see the attached image). But with the latest release of ArchiCAD V 10, it seems that the university version is not there. I can find only the commercial version and the student version in the installation setup. What I would like to know is wether ArchiCAD V 10 is having any university Version? If any university or Architectural college wants to purchase ArchiCAD V 10 for its lab what will be supplied with there file formats and limitations?

Any info on this would be of great help .

Thanks in advance.

cheers,
Srinivas.

There is a Univ version. It is free with a 2 year expiration serial number. AFAIK it can export to dwg, though I will start playing with it when classes start in about 2 weeks. Ask about it to your reseller.

Our reseller sent us a serial to activate the university version of AC10. It's identical to the student version.
