Archicad 27 starter freezing or unresponsive

When i start archicad, the splash screen appears. This screen will hang for some time or the "archicad starter" process will get the status "not responding".

Sometimes, the splash screen / starter process does not freeze and the start screen with a list of recent projects shows. Except now this screen freezes / becomes unresponsive. I can terminate the "archicad starter" process through task manager, but i want the program to start normally. I like using the recent projects view showing a preview of what i was working on.

Why is this happening and how can i stop this?

My ArchiCAD 27 opens great, until I attempt to launch a 5th instance. It gets stuck on the launch screen every single time I try to launch anything beyond 4 instances of 27

Ending the task via ctrl+alt+Delete jogs it into launching it self
